Family Lives provides targeted early intervention and crisis support to families who are struggling, we are a professional volunteer-led organisation working with families across the country.
Our fundraising team is integral to our continued success in providing this support, securing vital funding for our helpline, face to face and digital services. The fundraising landscape is ever changing, with increased challenges this year, providing opportunities for learning and growth. This is an exciting time for an enthusiastic, proactive individual.
To provide support to the fundraising team, within the Business Development Department. The role is to assist in a variety of growth areas with a focus on researching corporate partnership opportunities.
The role would suit someone looking to develop a career in the charity sector and with an interest in fundraising or someone who wishes to extend their volunteering experience. In exchange for your time you will gain valuable experience within a national charity, grow your skills and knowledge of the sector and in the delivery of a fundraising strategy.
- To build Family Lives corporate fundraising portfolio
- Assist in and develop relationships with corporate funders and sponsors.
- Other general duties that contribute to running an efficient fundraising department.

- Excellent research skills and ability to work on own initiative
What we are looking for:
This is a long-term project and we are seeking interest from people wanting to commit longer term to a volunteering role; a minimum of 3 months. The candidate will need to commit to 30 hours over a month.
Work will be from home with regular catch-ups and supervision with the Trusts & Contracts Fundraising Manager, via Microsoft Teams and occasionally in person. Some work will need to be Tuesday to Friday, during office hours, to facilitate this.
