Afghan families project
Family Lives are supporting Afghani Families to overcome isolation and to create more stable, happier families that are more likely to stay together.
We have created a community-led, befriending programme that harnesses the passion, energy and skills of volunteers from the Afghan and the wider community. Each year a team of 10 volunteer befrienders will support 20 families for up to six months, building confidence and parenting and practical skills in families that make for better family relationships and social interaction.
